You feel it on your way to work or school. The sweat trickling down
your spine, tickling the little hairs on your back, wet and sticky
on your shirt, and pooling at the little creases in your body. It’s
hot, it’s humid, and it’s totally un-sexy.
Yep, summer is coming. And with the onset
of summer comes a new age in our little magazine niche in the online
world. MU Insider isn’t just as plain old newsletter anymore; it’s
now part of a bigger network of online magazines that spans not just
our own games (MU Online, Gunbound, Rakion, mobiuskids), but includes
gaming industry news from some of the most well-known gaming websites
in the world.
Pronounced the right way, ForPlay is envisioned to be the premiere
online gaming magazine (g-zine) for the Philippine player community.
In it you’ll find not only MU Insider news and contributed works,
but regular features such as our own GM Blog, game walk-throughs,
special gaming features, up-to-date news from the industry and even
featured articles from our own players.
So if you’ve got itchy fingers ready to put to paper (or Word document)
the words swirling around in your medulla oblongata (hey,
I remembered something from Science class!), then send it over and
be part of the Mobius Scribes, a great community of players who sideline
as writers when they’re not busy AFKing.
If you’ve got an article, an essay, poetry, fanfiction, or even anything
about the game you’d like to see published, send it over to poneros@mobius.ph and
not only will you receive cool incentives from us, you’ll also see
your published work online.

Congratulations to the MU newlyweds!
As we all know, MU is not just about hacking and slashing away at mobs
and fellow players. MU has been notorious for bringing people together,
young or old, straight or gay.
In recognition of the great binding power MU has over couples, we’ve
organized Mu Weddings, now on its second year running. For a minimal
fee of P600 or P1000, MU couples were granted wedding packages that
included premium items, and a chance to join a MU Wedding-only event—War
of the Roses.
Thanks to all who participated in the event! And congratulations
to those who won!

Fan Fiction
"Read the scrolls. And burn them well."
His master's instructions four years agotrailed into
his mind as Tarrent fingered through the ashes of
the two unusual scrolls which he kept in a small
leather waist pouch. He had learned and burned these scrolls two years
after his master left but he still shuddered in using them, avoiding
their use whenever possible.
He put on his dark tunic, slung his Legendary staff and quietly left
his room, not wishing to wake any of his fellow apprentices who were
fast asleep. He walked out of the inn to the stone-paved Plaza of Lorencia.
No one was awake in such an unholy hour, and the town looked serene
and peaceful under the bright November full moon. He silently strode
toward the East Gate, and was hailed by the sentinel on duty.
"I'm bound for Noria," said
Tarent, hiding the whereabouts of his true destination to the sentinel.
"So late in the night?" asked
the sentinel.
"Yes, sir. I need to be there before the sun sets tomorrow," replied
Tarrent.
"Okay, you may go. You seem like a tough sport for the monsters
out there," said the sentinel as he pulled on a lever. The East
Gate's hinges creaked and slowly grated open.
Tarrent strode out of the stone bridge and marched
along the path leading to the Dungeons. The cemetery
would just be near the end of the road, before the
Dungeons. It was his true destination, and no one
must know about that. That his master chose such
a place for their rendezvous was still a mystery to him.

SCAM! Nakakabagot, nakakainis. Sinong
matutuwa? Lahat na ata ng sektor ng lipunan may kani-kaniyang
bersiyon ng salitang “scam” mula sa pyramid scam
hanggang sa fertilizer scam. Sinong matutuwa? Pati
ba sa MU may scam-man? Puwes maniwala ka man o hindi
isang napakalaking OO ang kasagutan. Hay buhay ng
scammer nga naman, ilabas mo nga’t macombo pahayag
nung isang BK na noobs naman at nang dahil sa inis
kahit wala pang combo, nakakapangahas ng salita.
Para sa mga batikan na sa MU ingat lang din kasi
hindi kayo ligtas pag ang isang propesyunal na scammer
ang sa inyo ay makipagtrade.
