Because of one man's pride, the great Evil that was once locked away is once again free. The warlord Antonias, blinded by the poisonous words of Lemuria, sought to possess Kundun's dark power, but instead was possessed by the very spirit that he sought to conquer.
Only the power of the missing Secronomicon, the mighty spell book of Entramu Renos once Kundun's friend and comrade, can seal the dark power once again.
A time of great change and conflict is approaching. Lands once lost have been rediscovered reopened. A people thought to have withdrawn from the world, have reemerged.
In the cold lands of Devias, a gate is discovered to La Cleon, the place where the components of the Secronomicon were discovered. Perhaps, this is where the book can be found.
In the far seas, a mysterious island untouched by civilization is discovered. Thought of as tranquil, the Swamp of Peace is violent and thirsty for blood.
The lost people of Elbe have awakened to combat the new threat. Bringing their curse and summon magic, they still remember the destruction of their old home of Elbeland. Near the Fortress of Crywolf, Balgass has bolstered his ranks and is again making a renewed attempt breaking into the once civilized lands.
Where are the heroes of old? Who are left to fight this ancient war?

There are many new features with Season 4, but the first important one is the 3rd Class Change. The term is actually a blanket title as only four of the six classes actually have a third profession while the others only have two. The Blade Knight, Muse Elf, Soul Master and Bloody Summoner are those four while the Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord are the two exceptions. For simplicity's sake, we'll keep the term as they can only go through the class change at level 400 which is the maximum level.

To achieve the change, a character has to go through a three stage quest and all are initiated by talking to the NPC Priest Devin in Crywolf.
Continuing with our MU Season 4 preview, we wanted to showcase some of the new items we'll be introducing, starting off with brand new wings for all classes.
One of the most highly requested items has always been upgraded wings, and now with Season 4, we are proud to finally introduce a whole new set of them, upgraded with better stats and new looks!
Those sure look great, but how are the stats? All new wings share the same stats, as follows:
One of:
One of:
You'll need to have completed the 3rd job change to wear them, and your 2nd job wings along with a couple other things to get them made, but for any hardcore MU'er, these are definitely worth it!
Illusion Temple is a PVP event zone for a maximum 10 players and minimum 4 players, accessible by talking to Mirage the Mummy in Elveland.
You will however require an invitation to enter, which is obtained by combining certain items at the Chaos Goblin Machine. The zone has five separate levels:
| Temple | Level |
|---|---|
| 1 | 220 - 270 |
| 2 | 271 - 320 |
| 3 | 321 - 350 |
| 4 | 351 - 380 |
| 5 | 381 - 400 |
| 6 | 400 (3rd job class) |
Once the event starts, players who are in are assigned to a random team and get a team uniform.
Here's a look at the layout of the zone. You can see the team's two starting positions on the westernmost and easternmost sides of the map.

For each opposing player killed, the killing team gets five skill points which can be spent to temporarily improve their character during the event. On top of killing other players, there are 2 statues located in the event map, each holding an event ball.
Each team's base also comes equipped with a pedestal, where players can bring back the event balls for points. Once a ball is taken from a statue, both statues disappear. They reappear again once a team returns the ball to their respective base.
The first team which is able to return the ball seven times first wins. So not only is it important to kill the opposing team as much as possible, but to also gather as many event balls as possible while preventing the opposing team from doing the same! The ball carrier will move in slow motion, so it's important for his or her teammates to work together to protect the ball carrier from the opposing team. Once a ball carrier is killed, DC's or leaves the event; the ball will fall to the ground and is able to be picked up by any player on either team.
And what's the prize for all this you ask? You'll just have to try it out yourself to find out! See you on the battlefield!
Located between the snowy peaks of Devias and the underwater sprawl of Atlans, Elbeland is the home to a mysterious tribe of people exiled from their homes. After evil powers destroyed their previous home, this tribe moved here, guarded by the tall mountain peaks along it's borders and dense fog shrouding it's entrances, the area was well protected from major incursions.
A beautiful but harsh environment, players between levels 10 to 50 will find many challenges awaiting them here. New quests, monsters, and adventure await!
Strange Rabbit
Once regular white rabbits, these now deformed monstrosities are one of the first monsters players will encounter. Don't let their small size fool you as they can pack quite a punch.
Werewolf
A type of monster that is native to this environment, these shape shifters usually come out after the sun sets above the cliffs to look for prey. Deceivers of the highest degree, some of them have learned to shape shift into human form to infiltrate local settlements. They normally favor using their claws and teeth to fight, but some have learned how to wield weapons as well.
Totem Golem
Totem golems were once regular totemic sculptures, left behind by an unknown civilization. Upon arrival of the mysterious tribe, the lingering evil that had managed to follow quickly gave life to these relics.
Now, these lumbering monstrosities seek to destroy all they come across. Whether they are still controlled by the original gods which they symbolized or have been corrupted by the evil is unknown.
Adjacent to Devias, LaCleon is the place where the wizard Eturamu found the magical metal Semicrocon, which he utilized in creating his fabled spellbook responsible for sealing away Kundun. Bitterly cold and unforgiving, the area is rife with magical energy as well as natural hazards. It is also home to the monstrous spider Selupan, a creature whom many adventurers have fallen to.
A harsh adventure zone designed for players level 270 and above, LaCleon is just but one of the new areas to explore in the upcoming Season 4.
Selupan
Once a regular adventurer, Selupan has mutated into a ferocious spider-beast due to the negative influences of the magic in LaCleon. He guards his territory fiercely and will not hesitate to attack anyone who threatens his lair.
Giant Mammoth
Once regular mammoths, these beasts have been corrupted by the lingering magic in the area, which have changed them into highly territorial and aggressive creatures. Adventurers are warned to watch their large, frozen horns, strong enough to pierce armor, lest they fall prey to these creatures themselves.
Ice Giant
Ice Giants were created by Selupan himself as a way for him to test his strength. Made of hard stone, ice and chunks of metal, these creatures are slow but extremely powerful. Adventurers should consider these with caution and not underestimate them.
The Swamp of the Calmness is a brand new zone in Season 4 for level 400 characters. A single safe zone in the center of the area acts as the main hub with exits leading out into the harsh environment.
New adventurers entering the swamp will be greeted with a land where the sky is never seen and the ground is always wet, a land of eternal marsh and fog. Due to its long seclusion away from the rest of the world, it was long used as a pirate haven. Now, savage creatures have managed to grow here, unabated by humankind. Now, open for the first time to outsiders, the king of MU has specially ordered that warriors are to be awarded for clearing the land of the deadly inhabitants.
Are you ready to challenge yourself to destroy these deadly creatures on the frontiers of MU?
Sapi Unus
This carnivorous plant is probably one of the first creatures adventurers will encounter in the swamp. Born due to contaminants left behind by pirates, this deadly plant lures it's victims to their deaths through a sweet scent it excludes and its feminine features.
Thunder Napin
A tree guardian corrupted by the uncontrolled development of the land by pirates, this lost soul is now a degenerated monster, seeing all outsiders as enemies that must be destroyed
Background
After the ancient town of Elbe was devastated by Lemuria, its survivors vanished without a trace. It was whispered that spirits had swallowed them whole, while others spoke of a mysterious forest where eerie weeping and cries had been heard.
Centuries later, strange people dressed in silk robes and carrying peculiar hooked staves appeared in the north, and claimed land for their own. Seven times they circled the area, walking straight over bush and stream, facing the sun as they chanted in a tongue known only to themselves. Seven times more they returned the way they came, walking away from the sun, their chanting reaching a fevered pitch.
The explosion of light swallowed everything in the forest, and there was abrupt silence as the walkers were engulfed, arms outstretched, by the blinding light they had called. Seconds ticked by, and the light shimmered slowly down. The walkers were gone, and a shining edifice stood there that had not been there before.
The new town of Elbeland had been built. Slowly, the last of these strange people straggled in to make their home there.
They called themselves Summoners, and the travelers from distant towns did not know what to make of them. This tribe of Summoners was cold and aloof, holding itself apart from outsiders. They spoke only to trade and do business, and their eyes spoke of an ancient bitterness long nurtured.
It was another century before the first outsider was allowed to live in Elbeland, and longer still before they were allowed to learn the secret of Summoning.
Summoner
Summoners are the masters of nature, and can call upon powerful spells to manipulate the forces of the earth and sky. While elves gently entreat the spirits of nature for their gift, Summoners rage in a constant battle with these spirits, forcing them to their will and struggling to maintain dominance over earth-shattering might.
Touched with the dark ability to manipulate the very souls of living creatures, Summoners can leech life from an enemy to recharge themselves, cause them to enter a dream state, or otherwise wreak devastation on them.
Summoner Character Card is needed to create a Summoner. The Card can be purchased at our MU Cash Shop in-game.
